August has been one big milestone for WutzGood Inc. A month of company strengthening transitions including;
- My first month working full-time on WutzGood.
- A necessary change in the Executive Team.
- Our exciting acceptance into the DIV Inc. accelerator program.
- The official migration to Austin, Tx.
Our company is incrementally getting stronger on both ends of management and development. The heart of our success will lie within product innovation and the ability to strategically plan in the short term - yes, the short term.
All competitive advantages of the product are simply a series of hypotheses. Instead of shipping the product and seeing what happens, we're going to get out the office and run experiments with our customers. Every experiment will yield results that ultimately decipher Value vs. Waste.
Short-term planning means implementing a series of intensely monitored tests that will allow us to figure out more ways to sustainably grow the business. As planned, Alex Binder and I have mapped out WutzGood's first series of tests; Restauranteur Interviews and Usability Testing.
Execution timeline below;
Ideally, the participants of the Restaurant Interviews will also be participants of the Usability Test. To keep attrition low, candidates will be rewarded for their participation.
The high-level goal: Find out which specific category of restaurant establishments in the serviceable obtainable market is the ideal early adopter. Confirm pain points and customer's potential marketing spend.

In May we finished onboarding our intern, Molly McConnell to the WutzGood Dev Team. Her goal for the month is to have a fully working load balancer that will automate test data. Load balancing aims to optimize resource use, maximize throughput, minimize response time, and avoid overload of any single resource. Molly will continue to work closely with our Server-Side Architect; John Best.
Finalizations for testing and growth strategies run parallel with the Dev Team’s release of the WZGD Alpha before Oct 1.
